Administrative Assistant
Background:
The No Boundaries Coalition is a resident-led advocacy organization building an empowered Central West Baltimore across the boundaries of race, class and neighborhood. We mobilize residents from 7 21217 neighborhoods to improve public safety, improve police-community relationships, increase access to healthy foods, increase opportunities for young people and increase voter turnout.
We currently have a four-person staff that runs a youth organizing program, a produce stall, GOTV campaigns, leadership development, monthly membership meetings and a policy and legislative agenda to increase police accountability. Our office is at St Peter Claver Church at 1526 N Fremont.
Duties:
- Keep meeting minutes and monthly membership meetings
- Enter data from sign in sheets from meetings and events
- Update google group email list and mailchimp email list
- Create and maintain a donor database
- Send thank you’s to donors
- Send monthly communication emails
- Post updates on organization website
- Reply to general phone, email and facebook inquiries
- Post weekly updates on Facebook
- Maintain a grant database
- Assist with grant reports
Skills:
- Must know how to use Facebook, twitter and instagram.
- Must know how to use wordpress and Mailchimp.
- Must be fluent in excel and database management.
- Able to work independently and self-motivated, as well as able to work as part of a team.
- On time and reliable.
Compensation and Hours:
$15/ hour for 15 hours/ week. This position does not include health benefits.
